The Guild enjoys promoting its member’s beautiful basket creations!
We do this at a couple “outside” events each year; namely, the Darlington Apple Festival and at Steppingstone Farm Museum events and programs.
At these events, members demonstrate weaving and encourage visitors to weave a row or two! Also, at these events, members have the opportunity to sell their own handwoven baskets.
We also set up a marketplace at the Guild-sponsored basket bingos. We enjoy others, enjoying our baskets! Of course, monies earned go for more basket supplies and classes. Members, when bringing baskets to sell at a marketplace, please complete an Inventory Form and tag each basket with the following information: Inventory # (# that you designate), Your Name, Basket Name, Price of the Basket, Sales Tax (6%), and Total Price. (All Total Prices should be an even number). We ask that baskets be made by you and are clean and smoke-free. Whether you have 1 or 100 baskets, please bring them all! A fillable Inventory Form is below and available for your use.
Email June (jhersey@zoominternet.net). if you have a problem with the form below.
